I live in Wales, within walking distance from the Gower Peninsular, which was the first place in Britain to be designated as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The Gower, with its 70 square miles of stunning cliffs and beaches is where I like to spend my days painting, sketching, taking photos, collecting sea glass for my jewellery, hiking, swimming in the sea, and camping. I find the Gower is an endless source of inspiration. I grew up near Preston, Lancashire, England. I have lived in various places in England and have also travelled, worked and volunteered in many countries around the world. I am a self taught artist and I have learned mostly through experimenting. I discovered my love for painting in 2005 when I lived in Spain.

I spend a lot of time in nature which is my greatest source of inspiration. There is an infinite amount of beauty in the natural world; so much so that I could never tire of painting nor ever be lacking in inspiration. Just as nature inspires me to create art, I hope my art inspires people to spend more time in nature; to enjoy the beauty and serenity that nature provides. I hope my art helps people to appreciate the importance of natural habitats for people and animals and that this encourages the protection of these areas which are constantly becoming under threat from urban development.

My favourite subjects to paint are wildlife, trees, seascapes, sea scenes, semi-abstract landscapes, fantasy and impasto. I paint on pebbles, slate, rock, flint and marble. I mostly paint miniature paintings. Most of these paintings are small enough to fit into the palm of the hand. They make wonderful gifts for nature lovers and art lovers. They look great alone or as part of a collection. Many of my paintings are available to buy on the main page of my art website.

I also make jewellery from the sea glass and sea pottery that I find on various Gower beaches, including some miniature wearable paintings on sea glass and pebbles. You can find my handmade jewellery for sale in the  Tiddu shop.
